Download and install tools from registry.

smarttools registry install summarize
smarttools registry install rob/custom-tool@1.2.0

Features

  • Install by name or author/name
  • Version pinning support
  • Install to global (~/.smarttools/)
  • Verify tool integrity

Tasks

  • Implement download API client
  • Add version resolution
  • Install to correct location
  • Create symlink in ~/.local/bin/
